Has anyone taken BIO202&205 at the same time?

I will be taking this over the coming fall semester. I looked up all professors and finally decided on two good ones based on many factors. Have any of you taken them together? Some people tell me don't do it, but this is the only way i will get all of my co req done before starting the program. So i just want to know what I'm getting myself into. Thanks!

P.S i will not be taking any other courses. just those two (:

I have done it. It was so difficult to do, not going to lie. When I was not in class, I was studying for one or the other. I literally spent all my time at school. If you end up taking them both at the same time, get into a good study group that makes you focus. I had to change study groups because my friends wanted to chat :( Also, I was lucky enough not to work. I don't know how that plays into your time factoring. It can be done, but be forewarned it will take a lot of hard work. I managed to pull off a B in BIO 202 and an A in BIO 205. :) Good luck with your decision!

Thank you sooooo much for your input! i have to take them at the same time so there is no other option. i only work a few days a week so not too bad, i also don't have kids so I'm okay with having a lot to study. i paid really close attention to the professors i chose and their ratings so i hopefully will have good teachers!

I don't have kids either :) My husband and I decided to wait until after nursing school to have them. That's great about working! Websites that have ratings about teachers are not always correct :( I learned that the hard way. I would ask former BIO students if you could (if you haven't already). :) just a

suggestion

I'm not but, a classmate in my 202 class this semester is doing both. The teacher can make or break the experience I believe. He is doing well in both. What campus are you taking them at? Im taking 202 at Gateway with -----------------he is amazing and lets us use a 5x8 note card for all tests except the final. I believe my classmate is taking 205 at Phoenix with some lady whose name starts with -----------------(we can't give names)

I'm taking it at the Williams field cgcc campus. Both teachers had very very good scores on rate my professor so I'm hoping I'll be okay!

I did it!! It was fine! I got A's in both just organize your study days appropriately!

I am taking both now along with FON 241 and my HCR (??) 220. 202 at Williams, 205 at pecos and 220 online. It's totally doable.

I took both, along with the nutrition class and a death and dying class, plus statistics in the same semester. I think it was 17 credits? It really depends on the professors, as well as what your home life is like. My kids were little when I had that semester, but somehow I managed to do well. If you are good at time management and study skills, it's very doable.

I'm so glad that I've found this website and specifically the AZ section. I'll also be taking 202 & 205 Fall 2016. I'll be taking 202 @ Pecos with a great prof. teaching 201 that I'm currently in. For 205, it'll be @ Mesa. It looks like we might apply for the CEP program during the same time. Good luck with your classes and finish strong before nursing school. :)

Unfortunatley even though the professors at CGCC pecos campus are better, they didn't work with my schedule ): i won't be doing CEP, ill be applying for gateway accelerated in May because you will end up being done at the same time (:

There is a great BIO202 class at the CGCC Pecos campus it is lecture online and lab in person, the teacher does a great job and so far its been way easier than BIO201 was.
