GCU Fall '13 applicants

Hi out there! I was wondering if there were any GCU fall '13 hopefuls? I see these threads all the time & couldn't wait for the chance to start mine! If you are in the process for the may 15 deadline please let me know so we can chat even if we're not going for the same campus. I'm going for the main myself. All I have left to turn in are my final grades! Yippee!!! Good luck all!

BTW When I finished my app for Banner my advisor told me there would be 30 positions and that only 32 people had correctly completed an application for the fall Banner program.

Hey we're both banner apps! My counselor told me 40 spots 41 apps! We shall see. As far as breast feeding goes, it's a hospital, I'm sure there will be some place besides a smelly restroom to accommodate you. I'm so nervous! I had one C in my science, an A in chemistry, & all B's with only a few more A's in pre reqs. I'm so afraid my gpa is too low. I took the TEAS once & scored the minimum. This waiting game will kill us before we get there! Lol As far as kids, I have three also. My youngest is 2. I would like to work but haven't since 2010 due to school. I may do CNA depending on what our schedule looks like. Keep your fingers crossed guys, we'll know sooner or later!

OMG I was hoping next week! I can't take much more of this LOL. How did you find out that Banner had 40 apps?

Email your counselor and see what they say. Mine said 40 spots, 41 apps!

Hey, I am also applied for GCU Tucson! My program GPA is 3.8, but not sure of my science. Maybe 3.7ish? I did an 81.0 and a 76.7. I was so worried about the math, I rushed way to fast through the English! How did your interview go? Have you heard anything yet, or are we going to find out on the 14th also? Good luck to you, I hope we both make it!!! :)

Hey everyone I'm applying for GCU tucson! Everything's done, just waiting for my final grades. I'm applying with a GPA 3.67 and science 3.38. my TEAS scores were 88.1 and 76.9. I'm really nervous because i don't feel like anything really stands out. what are you guys applying with? we've got about 2 more months of waiting. boooo

Taking my patho final tomorrow and turning in my final transcript as soon as my grade is posted. I'm applying to GCU Scottsdale Healthcare fast track, and am so nervous that it will be overwhelming. Has anyone heard what the schedule is like? Good luck to everyone! Congrats Lizzy!

I e-mailed her. Hope I don't tick her off but my anxiety is through the roof. I feel like I am in limbo especially since I am taking a HUGE career change.

I emailed my counselor today and asked how many applicants for AT Still location. She said just over 40, they accept 24, and that the emails would be sent out Friday 6/14! Ahhh, only 5 more days of worrying!

My counselor told me Friday they were sending out decisions as well. I am thankfully the waiting game is almost over but I am sooooo anxious. Stay positive, they may take more than 24 applicants you never know :)

You guys are right! I saw it on the website. All of the important dates are posted & it says Friday 14th. It also gives immunization & orientation dates.

My interview was weird. I had a petite white woman with short hair. It was really quick. I thought she'd want thorough answers but it was more like "how will you work and go to school". my long answer and her cutting me off and saying oh good sounds like you would do well in this program. lol. My friend got the black woman who was really friendly. How was your interview? My friend said her lady was really nice but she didn't really gather anything from her whether it went well one way or another. Me too! you are the only other person on here! also when my friend went she was told only 70 had applied. I hope that's true.
