GCU Fall '13 applicants

Hi out there! I was wondering if there were any GCU fall '13 hopefuls? I see these threads all the time & couldn't wait for the chance to start mine! If you are in the process for the may 15 deadline please let me know so we can chat even if we're not going for the same campus. I'm going for the main myself. All I have left to turn in are my final grades! Yippee!!! Good luck all!

My interview was weird. I had a petite white woman with short hair. It was really quick. I thought she'd want thorough answers but it was more like "how will you work and go to school". my long answer and her cutting me off and saying oh good sounds like you would do well in this program. lol. My friend got the black woman who was really friendly. How was your interview? My friend said her lady was really nice but she didn't really gather anything from her whether it went well one way or another. Me too! you are the only other person on here! also when my friend went she was told only 70 had applied. I hope that's true.

Yeah, my interview took about 10-15 minutes, and I thought it would have been longer/more detailed. The main theme seemed to be how we would be able to handle balancing school and family life (I'm currently a stay at home mom and student with 3 kids).

I had the same woman your friend had, and she was very nice. I did okay, but I did get nervous and said something dumb when she asked me where I saw myself in 5 years and I said "Working as a, not an RN but BSN, as a hospice nurse". So dumb- BSN is an RN and I knew that!

You were under pressure & I can relate. I do silly things too! I just can't wait til Friday!

Yes she got in also. I'm so excited. So I did some searching on the website. And it had the list of classes we will be taking as well as estimated prices for books. Also all the stuff we will need to buy like uniforms and such. Congrats llongo. I guess I'll be seeing you next week for orientation. :)

Yup I've been looking at that! Trying to find books online for cheaper. Congrats again. Now it's time for the fun part, shopping for shoes & scrubs & whatnot!

Congrats to all of the Tucson students who got in!!! How AWESOME and an amazing accomplishment! What time of day did you get your email? One more day of waiting Phx hopefuls. We can do this. Stay strong and positive :)
