GCC Advance placement

Well i just found out tonight that i was accepted into block 3 as an advance placement student at GCC. The thing is they do not have alot of details yet ( i know it meets 4 nights a week) and i am waiting for them to call with more information. This class starts on May 26th, talk about short notice but am very happy to get in. This is a hybrid class and have not heard of or seen it mentioned before in Maricopa community college district information.

Anyone have any information? or any fellow students who will be joining me? (I believe 6 students were accepted). Is this a new class just for advance placement students?

thats awesome! Advanced placement meaning you're an LPN, right? Good for you! Let me know details once you get them! I am moving to Phx and am trying to scope out the bridge programs, hopefully I can work while doing school.

Well, we actually start tommorow night......and classes are in the evening on tues/thurs...I guess they call it the part time hybrid program. Looks like some of the work is done online as well. Yes I am currently an LPN and will enter this program in block 3. I plan on working full time as well, but my work is flexible with me so we will see how it all goes. I dont see this paticular class mentioned in te program options at GCC or in Maricopa CCD. Possibly because they only run it through 4 semesters, then stat again, so i would guess it is only offered every two years or so.
