Start up of a free clinic

I hope someone can help me with this. I am the administrator of a Home Health agency. However, my CEO has asked me to research and start the process of opening a free outreach clinic. This would only be V/S and simple nursing assessment. Lots of education and medication management. I am not finding anything online to help with this. I want a good disclaimer for my RN that will be working the clinic. Any other advice or resources would be extremely welcomed.

Thank you in advance

The nursing program I graduated from required a certain number of community service hours at each level of the program in order to progress to the next level. Opportunities that focused on health education and promotion were strongly encouraged - this is a great way to not only get help, but help nursing students build on patient teaching and health promotion skills.

A little late in coming but check the Volunteers In Medicine website. Also, several states have organized groups for free or sliding scale clinics-sort of a 'support group'.

Contact the National Nursing Centers Consortium They've helped many organizations across the country startup nurse run health clinics..many have evolved into NP run health centers that are federally qualified health centers.
