U.S.A. Alabama

Published

Hi Guys,

I have an associate degree and I have my RN license currently and I wanted to go back to school and I want to go to UAH. I want to know if anybody has done the RN-BSN program. Is it hard to do the program while working because I am also looking for a job. Thank you and any information will be helpful.

Why not do RN-MSN"? I guess you're not interested in the msn though

"The Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) programs are designed for individuals who have already earned a bachelor's degree in nursing"

It's my understanding that you have to have a BSN before you can complete a MSN.

no you can do rn to msn, they have those programs at uab and jsu, you don't have to have a bsn for those. they are bridge programs rn to msn, get your bachelors and masters in one easy step

Yes, UAB has a RN-BSN-MSN Track program. You still have to complete your BSN level classes & then you apply to their MSN program prior to completing your BSN.

How does a student apply for the RN-BSN-MSN program?

A: The application process is similar to RN-BSN through the undergraduate courses. During the last term of the BSN, the student applies to the master's program.

It's really not one easy step. You still have to maintain a 3.2 GPA to avoid taking the GRE/GMAT/MAT prior to applying for graduate school.

But that's UAB, she was asking about UAH.

I plan on completing my ADN and doing a bridge program either at UAH or UAB.
