Children's Hospital Summer Internship

I applied for the summer aide internship that Children's hospital is offering. According to their website, they are supposed to start contacting people in the first weeks of April for interviews. I am REALLY hoping to get a spot! I am pre-nursing and am having a horrible time finding a job as a PCT, and am wanting the experience...plus it will hopefully help in the job hunt. Has anyone else applied or heard anything back yet??

I'm not sure -- when I applied, it said something like they were proud to annouce the program, but I don't know if it's been done in the past or not. If they had that many applicants, than maybe it has beend one in the past.

I haven't heard anything yet. I emailed the lady Friday, and didn't get an answer back yet. I'm guessing they are still contacting people, because the status is still open, but it's driving me crazy lol. I would think they could take a few people for each unit, but maybe not. They have done it before, I googled it. If we don't hear anything this week, they might have already filled the spots. Good luck! Hope they call soon!

I just got a call and had an interview over the phone!! She said that I should hear something back in the next few weeks!

That's great news!! Just out of curiosity, what does your last name end with? I had class today and one of the girls that also applied said they were going down the list in alphabetical order. Mine ends in "R" so I'm just keeping my fingers crossed! I'm sure you did great on the interview! I hope you hear good news in a few weeks :)
