VISA and SEC Assessment (For Canada)

Hi! I'm from the Philippines and I have pending application in CARNA.

I've already received a letter from them and they advised me to take an English exam and the SEC Assessment. Ive already met their English requirement. For the SEC, I need to apply for a VISA first before I could register.

Can someone advise me on what type of VISA should I apply for? I'm planning to get a tourist VISA and if so, will it be enough to present the CARNA letter? How much do I need for the "show" money/assets? Will I still be needing lots of money if my relatives in Calgary will be paying for the expenses?

hello...i just want to ask... Did you select single entry visa or multiple entry visa for applic. Of temp. Resi visa (tourist visa) ?

Do we need to include/state all siblings in completing the application docs? I'm single and don't have children as well. I also want to know, if my mother will accompany me, should she apply separately?

If given the chance to be eligible in TAKING crne, I'd like to enroll in a review center in manitoba before taking the exam. I plan to choose multiple entry because what if i fail, i could come back in Manitoba to retake the exam.

she does not have plans going permanently with me, because she has ESRD and has ongoing treatment and likes to stay here in Philippines for good.

I would image your mother would have to apply for her own tourist visa if she plans on accompanying you. Usually the guide has the information required on how to complete the forms

The college of RN should give you information in regards to applying for SEC

That decision will be made by the college of RN based on what you submit. I have seen it posted that if you then plan on going to a province that requires SEC and you have passed CRNE in another province you may still be required to do SEC.

Go to your Dashboard which you access by clicking on your account above (ivan-aldrich) and select options then edit settings, you then have option on bookmarks with or without email notification

I also got an invitation from mt. royal university inviting me to take a SEC assessment. I haven't tried applying fro this entry visa for i am afraid of getting denied. Does anybody know the amount they are requiring for showmoney and other requirements they need. I haven't visited the embassy yet because I know they would be requiring a lot and I don't have any idea what they would be needing. I am afraid to be denied since I heard that once you got denied it would be difficult to reapply. hope to hear good feedbacks from people with more knowledge. God bless.
