My partner lives in Florida ... Am just newly qualified in the UK ... We are planning marriage but what else do I need to do? Any advice would be appreciated ... I have done a common foundation year that encompassed mental health and mother and baby

So you need to get a credential evaluation done through cgfns, you then need to apply to Florida board if nursing for registration with them for a licence, you will need to pass the nclex as part of the licensing process. There are some CE requirements to complete for Florida prevention of medical errors HIV/aids and domestic violence. These can all be taken online You will then need to gain a visa, I am guessing you want to do this via your partner - you will need to be married or getting married within 90 days of landing on American soil. You will have to check processing time I am not sure of these.
