Seeking a Nursing Job

World Immigration

Hi! Good day! I am a newbie here. I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines. I just want to know if there's a direct hiring to the US that offer sponsorship?! Is there any possible way to apply without even having an NCLEX yet?! Looking forward for any answers from my questions. Thank You! God Bless!

You may want to post over in World Nursing. It will be difficult to find a sponsor right now due to the fact they may be required to hold the job for you for up to (or more?) 10 years until you reach your visa priority date. You also need to have a BSN as well as set amount of experience. The sponsor has to be able to prove they cannot find an American with the same credentials, I believe, and with the glut of US nurses that may be difficult.

Most employers will not look at you without passing NCLEX or at least meet state requirements and have eligibility to sit NCLEX.

You had originally posted in the NY state forum so if you are looking at that state then many US nurses living in the state are struggling to find work so finding a employer willing to look at you you will need to provide something exceptional. Also be aware NY requires CVS which can take over 6 months before you get eligibility to sit NCLEX

Current waiting time for someone from the Philippines is just over 2 years for a immigrant visa

Thank you for your reply! I appreciated it a lot.

Because one of my friends also a registered nurse here, was processing his application without even having his NCLEX yet but he is planning to take NCLEX soonest. I've heard also that he already has a visa screen. Is that possible?! He is also on direct hiring. That's why i'm asking this because i'm confused. Thank you and God Bless!

Ifyour friend has VSC then they must have passed CGFNS exam because a pass in this or NCLEX is a requirement

@silverdragon do you anything about CAT Simulation in NCLEX?! Any websites?!

I think it's better to choose which state you wanna work and passed you nclex and then work as nurse there in the philippines to gather more experience.
