NVC does not know whats happening!

Just checked my case with NVC and they(call center) told me that they (NVC) have not sent my papers for CP since my pd is aug 2004 and they are processing june 2002! I asked about the newly released visa bulletin for scheduled A workers, she said that she do not know that as far as she knows, my case is being processed under E3! what the H___! Is this is what's really happening or that agent do not know anything? does someone know what's happening?

Am starting this thread to track cases that has been sent from NVC - CP - interview schedule to know the developments of the processing as a result of the ammended june visa bulletin.

Your experienceand input is very much welcome

Yes, my lawyer sent the forms (DS230 last April 15, 2005) thru snail mail, received it April 24, 2005. Accomplished it and gave certified NSO copies and original of the requested copies (visa screen, police/NBI clearance, passport copies, marriage cert, birth cert, etc.) April 27. The lawyers sent it last May 3 trhu overnight to NVC, case completed last May 16, 2005.

Fees were paid last year to the lawyers, but because of retrogression my agency and lawyers decided not to pay yet to NVC. What a wise move, they waited for the lifting of retrogression before deciding to send it to NVC. Fees should be paid before NVC can release the forms.

For consular intervies, NVC advised that the case is "ready to go, will start scheduling iterview JUly 1, so better check again in 1-2 weeks for your interview schedule"

Thanks.

Thank you dhel28. That is a very helpful information. Do they require authenticated copy of Visa Screen Certificate? It wasn't included to my list of my requirements as per lawyers instruction. I did send just copy to them few months ago and they didn't asked for certified true copy.

Hello All,

Please share your experiences...

After your I-140 Case/Petition has been approved...HOW LONG DID IT TAKE FOR THE NVC TO RECEIVE IT? AND HOW LONG DID IT TAKE BEFORE A CASE NUMBER FROM NVC HAS BEEN GENERATED...

I hope you share your experiences for those who had their approvals...

Thank you very...

dale

Thanks rep from your reply...

i saw that there is a discrepancy between Jan 2005 packet3 and packet 3 being submitted to NVC a few weeks ago...What could be the reason for the six months delay? RETROGRESSION???

also how did you find out that your approved I-140 petition was submitted to the NVC?

Dale,

Yes, it is because of the retrogression that I delay the submission of my packet 3.

As you know, once USCIS approves a petition they will send it to NVC for the visa processing. NVC in turn will send you a " Agent of Choice letter". The purpose of which is for you to inform them who will be responsible for receiving all the mailings from them and processing the visas. Once you inform them of your agent of choice ( it can be you, your friend, a relative, an attorney or your employer , agency). NVC will send you the Visa fee Bill to the "agent of choice". Usually this happens about two to three months after your petitioned is approved.

We can only know if our approved petition is with NVC already when you recieved the agent of choice letter or the visa fee bill for those whose applications are AC ( attorney certified) I-140.

In my case, since my petition was processed by an attorney, I only get to know that NVC has received my petiton when my lawyer informed me that he received the Visa fee Bill. The visa fee bill already contains the Visa Case Number. Each visa applicant will receive separate visa fee bill. In my case, I received 5 visa bills. Each for myself, my wife and three children.

After the bill is paid, a month or so, the applicant will receive the packet 3. As in my case.

You are welcome!

Rep, :)

Since a lot of EX/schedule A cases (specially nurses) are scheduled to have their consular interviews, everyone in this forum will appreciate if they can share their experience.

I started this thread specifically for that purpose, NVC - CP, and we are almost there. Maybe we can start CP - USA tracker in the very near future! :)

Hopefully.Eventually.:)

let me just share the experience of a "friend" on her preliminary interview done in the US embassy, Manila last July 7. Her PD is january 2004 and she got an information of her interview directly from NVC when she inquired thru email.

According to her, she undergone several interviews, 2 pinoys, 1 american and the consul. She was asked several questions such as when did she graduated and where? Where will be she working? what is her current job? and even her spouse was asked several questions. After the interview, she was schedules to undergo medical and return back for another interview and she should bring a copy (original) of her job contract and offer with the petitioner's letterhead. Most of nurses scheduled that day were delayed and questioned because they presented a contract printed on an ordinary paper. Also most of the nurses interviewed that day do not have an appoinment letter or a packet 4, they just check directly from NVC and the US embassy website.

She is a little worried about her scheduled medical, but I believe that she will pass that and eventually be given a visa!

Congratulations and god bless her when she start working in Arizona!

I hope you don't mind me posting your experience, keep in touch and keep texting!

There is absolutely no reason to take one of the review courses over there if you have been reviewing on your own already. I still recommend Saunders for their review book, and it comes with its own CD-Rom.

Send me your e-mail address and I will send you the articles that have helped all of the others pass the first time................... :)

hi suzanne! i hope u won't mind if i ask for the articles you shared with others that helped them passed NCLEX the first time. may i also know what edition of Saunders do you recommend. while waiting for my interview schedule to the US embassy, i'm reviewing for NCLEX on my own. i have some books but i can't figure out which one to concentrate on and what is the best reference. thank you very much, suzanne. God bless your kind heart! ' really appreciate all the information you've shared us. you're an angel! :)

(Please do not post personal e-mail addresses here, send them only by pm, they can be viewed by every spammer all over the world here. I did copy it before I deleted it. :) )

I still use the "Green" edition, but the newed addition is also good. Which ever that you can easily get is just fine. I believe that they do the best job of explaining the rationale behind each answer, it is as important to know this as much as you know the information.

You want the Comprehensive edition that comes with the CD.

Its already July 13 but as confirmed by NVC, they are still making the list for August interview schedules. Thank god, am about to lose hope. They said that they may not finish the scheduling on the 15th so everything is still up for grabs! Hopefully we can be scheduled in August. This waiting game is killing me.

Shaider, so we still have time to be included huh?! let's cross our fingers...we do not need luck, we need blessings!

God bless!!!
