has anyone heard nurses4canada? anu feedbacks please or this so called agency is legally and has a good feedback..thanks..much appreciated for your feedbacks...thanks

not an agency I have heard from but if you have a read on this forum in the threads for Canada there is no need to use an agency.

ok, but need them to accommodate with everyhting, im here in uk so i dont know anything, everything which means, housing,employment,etc.etc. do u think it would be a reasonable idea to have them sort out what i need, just a quick advice..thanks

I am from the UK and I competed our forms that are found on the CIC website easily. We have had a few UK nurses make the move without the need of an agency.

Starting point will be the college of registered nurses for the province you wish to live and work in. Be aware that Alberta especially has a hiring freeze for all including IENs.

Once you have eligibility to sit CRNE you can then start looking for a employer and then depending on route will depend on paperwork to complete and whether you need a LMO or not. have also sent you a pm

thanks for the advice, im just 25 years old so im a bit scared of moving one place to another, but thank you so much.is it not hard to go there and not have a job yet when you arrive?, i may sound so annoying, but i think i have the right person to talk to. my mom is going home to philippines so i need to stand by my own inclusind making the right decision.hope you could help me,:)

We came to Canada knowing no one but have made a few really good friends and I am sure you will, It can be a bit daunting when on your own but can be worth it. Which province are you looking at as that really will have a bearing on what to do?

i dont know yet sir, still searching for that right place, i just came across with quebec montreal, and it has been quite a thinking of that place for me.

Yes, it is hard to migrate without knowing anyone or having a job. It's what previous generations of immigrants did. My parents moved here with two young children, no employment, nowhere to live. They worked hard and we survived and prospered.

Migrants shouldn't expect to have it all done for them when they move. It's much easier to move now with the internet to help you check places out before you get here.

Quebec. Do you speak, read and write fluent French? It's not the most welcoming place to migrants who don't.

BC and Ontario are both having problems finding work for their own new grad nurses.

Canada isn't the easy place to find work that many believe it to be.

thanks, i need to start from the very beginning again, im currently considering the nurses4canada coz i dont know how to start wiht everything from there, they said they offer me employment and to sit exam, you think it would be a nice idea?to which place their succesfull canididates lands on, that is i dont know, let just hope if this all will push through,,,

Do not rush to move here but take some time to research the country, look at where you want to live and what sort of lifestyle you are after. Quebec have different immigration requirements to other provinces so a good read on the CIC website would also be something to consider.

Where do they offer employment?

How do they offer to sit the exam????

The college/association of nurses in the province where you want to live and work has to assess your education and will decide, an agency has nothing to do with it.

Many place don't recruit IEN's anymore due to poor economy and enough newgrads here (especially via an agency what means more costs for the employer).

It would be better to sort out things yourself and getting used to do it, since this is something that is expected from nurses here, work and think independently.

hey tyne...i too heard about nurses4canad recently.

They are offering a package of immigration plus registration, that actually sounds more than good.

Have u used their services if yes, then please let us no about the experience.
