jusst want to ask if ur 456 was still valid when u applied for your 457. were u still asked to undergo a medical exam for the 457 application, or did they consider the old results? i wonder if case officers are the ones who decide on this matter. thanks a lot and goodluck!

hi! I got my 457 visa just now :) they did consider my medical exam as it was still within the 1 yr validity period. yes my 456 visa was still valid when I lodged my 457 online here in Manila. :)

hi aila! may i know the timeline of your 457 visa? because i lodged mine last june 12 and until now, the status of it when i check the online application is still "processing commenced" and I don't have a case officer yet.. Im not sure if I lodged it correctly... can you enlighten me please.. =)

hi kringkring. it really depends on the centre of excellence where your 457 was filed. perth is the fastest. sydney i think is the slowest. and my case officer didnt contact me until i received my visa grant last night. here's my timeline:

7/06/2013 Processing commenced.

7/06/2013 Application fee received.

10/06/2013 Application processed further.

17/06/2013 Application approved.

hi kringkring. it really depends on the centre of excellence where your 457 was filed. perth is the fastest. sydney i think is the slowest. and my case officer didnt contact me until i received my visa grant last night. here's my timeline:
7/06/2013 Processing commenced.
7/06/2013 Application fee received.
10/06/2013 Application processed further.
17/06/2013 Application approved.

Thank you for your reply aila! I processed mine in sydney.. About the attachment of documents, after you have attached it the only button to click is cancel form right? So how did u finish your attachment of documents? :)

so you lodged your e457 in sydney? i think the processing time in sydney is 2-3 wks so you should be alright. :)

yes after attaching you can just click the cancel form or close the page because once your finished uploading your attachments you can already see it in the list of your documents :)

April-may 2013 had a vacation in the philippines

June 2013- got a job offer ( nursing home)

I have 2 years and 8 months experience. Hope this helps

hi! i had 1 yr ER and 2 yrs Radiology experience. the position that I applied for is level 1. one of the applicants had 10 yrs ER exp but she was not hired maybe because she's no longer considered as level 1.
