Hi I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the agency "continental travel nurse"? I recently applied to them and received a call back and was wondering if anyone knows anything about this agency? Good or bad?

Thanks

Hello fellow CTN RNs who are recently hired. Were you already assigned with your respective nurse managers?

Specializes in ER, Med-Surg, OB.

I did. I was confused tho, I think I've got 2 Nurse Manager. XD

I thought I was forgotten since the nurse manager that initially contacted me wasn't replying to my emails. Then I received an email that I was assigned to a new nurse manager. She detailed to me the next steps of NMC application (what documents to send, what to expect for OSCE, etc.) but I'm still a bit wary as to how the work environment is for a travel nurse.

I've heard horror stories in this forum. Is it true that they don't train travel nurses as tedious anymore since they are somewhat expected to be good at what they do? Can anyone shed light on this? :/

I was assigned to a new Nurse Manager too. She contacted me a month after I passed the final interview.

Travel Nurses are supposed to be specialists since they are deployed to a certain hospital who is in need of your specialty. XD

I read it somewhere (can't remember if it was here in allnurses.com) that travel nursing assignments are given only after a year of hospital placement.

Actually, it was 1.5 years after hospital placement. XD

hi there!

anyone here who had done an employer's interview under PNI international corp for UK? i'm having an interview this sunday and dont know what sort of questions being asked.. (kinda nervous).thanks..

Anyone out there who is currently working under CTN or anyone who are still working with the NMC registration with CTN through the help of IPAMS? I have lots of questions regarding the new scheme and how COntinental travel nursing works.

I really want to discuss how CTN works and where they usually assign their nurses I cant post a message or reply thru private message so just email me at

Hey guys,

Continental have their FAQs page. You can read that for further information: FAQs - Continental Travelnurse

Hope this helps.

Also, if you guys have attended the Final Interview, the director of CTN also informed on how they deploy their nurses.

Hi! If you guys have any other questions, you can try to contact IPAMS. Continental Travel Nurse is affiliated with only one agency here in the Philippines. And yep, that's IPAMS.:)

Hi Neshia0218. You can check CTN's website for the places they usually deploy to. Or their fb page for details on which hospitals they supply their nurses to.:) (After passing the CBT) I believe once you're done with uploading ALL your documents, NMC will take a maximum of 3 months to issue your decision as to when you can take your OSCE. Once you have a given date, IPAMS and CTN will deploy you a month before the said date.:) That's what I remember.:) From what Ms.Giltz said during the interview.:)
