hey! just wondering if you're a foreign grad with SSN and took nclex-rn in cali is it possible for the results to be delayed? i did the PVT but i was worried because i forgot my account and had to change it again before i did my first PVT and it went straight to CC page. does this mean i failed? i did 75 questions. my name isn't in the BON website, i did my nclex last tuesday on the 28th. something's wrong because i requested for an interim permit with my application and paid for it before i took my nclex but didn't received any mail pertaining to my IP until now! im really worried and im close to dehydrating myself by crying so much. please help me!:(:(:(:(

I would just like to ask one thing. I am a registered nurse here in the Phils.. I applied for my NCLEX last 2009 and took the exam just this June 2011. I stopped at the 75th question and was so anxious to wait for the results. However, almost 4 month have passed and still I didn't receive any results. I was just wondering because during 2009, CA did not require any SSN and I passed my application during that time. But I took the exam just this 2011 when CA BON implemented the SSN requirement. Could I still have my license in case I pass? Also, I haven't received my results til now. Huhu. I just wanna know if I passed or failed. It's not a joke spending a lot of money for a single test. Please, enlighten me on this. :(

Hi! I don't think so California will issue you a license without a SSN since you only took your exam last June and they made those changes with the SSN requirement since April 2011. 4 months is a long period of waiting. I would suggest that you'll call CABON and see why you didn't receive your results until now. Good luck to your results and God bless!!!

hi i want to ask.. im a july 2011 passer here in the philippines.. i want to take a nclex for vermont state?? do they also need ssn?? what state doesn't require ssn an ielts ?? and open for a non visa holder in united states... and also if can process my papers here for nclex even my prc license will be release on november of this year.. hoping for your reply for does who had a lot more experienced than me..thanks a lot and godblesss

hi there jayriz ..we're on the same situation.. i'm also a july 2011 passer but went to med school and now i'm planning to take nclex..i would like to ask which state did you apply for? thanks!

VT just recently changed their SSN requirements upon the application submission, effective, this month, May, 2012. They are following CA's and it's been said that many other states may soon follow in their footsteps.

Hi BennyRNCA! Do you have any idea if local license is requires if you're a foreign graduate? My application here in Cali was denied so I'm thinking of applying in other state, like Vermont.

Thank you so much purplechicxiii! I also received a message a few days ago from VT BON and you're right. Local license is required. Thanks again! I guess I'll just try Nevada or New Jersey.
