CA nclex-rn results for foreign grads with ssn

Thanks for the reply. It's such an agony of waiting for the final result. But in my own opinion, if you didn't pass the exam then I don't think so CA BON will waste your time of doing this finger print again if you don't have a SSN as this is their new rule now as to obtain this SSN first before you can reapply for the exam in case you don't have it. This is just my own opinion though but it's kind of making sense what I'm talking about, do you agree? Also, I've never heard anybody yet in this forum saying they got a good pop up and yet they fail. Maybe you can do the CES for Vermont requirement first while waiting so that your time will not be wasted, just a suggestion :) So I wish you good luck and let's just keep praying that the PVT really works 100% Good luck!!!

hello!

just go to the cgfns website http://www.cgfns.org/ and check for the ces processing. you can find all the information there including the fees. there are two kinds of ces evaluation in which you can choose and if i'm not mistaken, it' sthe complete ces report in which other members recommend here since as they've said, you can use this report to some other staes in case later you will decide to apply to another state who has the requirement of a complete ces report. i'm here in canada. by the way, i've reposted a 2010 post from one of the member ( rocket bomber )in this forum in which i think can help you a lot in processing your vermont license later. you can also read a lot of posts from other members here. hope this helps...

i made a simple procedure for everybody so that you can follow if you wish to endorse your nclex results to vermont. i hope this will help.

procedure for applying rn license thru nclex results endorsement to vermont from california bon:

step 1 apply for credential evaluation service full course by course specifically for the state of vermont at cgfns through online or by mail. fill up application form and follow procedures strictly. attached a certified true copy of high school diploma (must be in english) if not, have it translated and mail it to cgfns in pennsylvania. attached the payment using bank demand draft of us$385 if you are mailing the application but if you decide to do it online, have your credit card ready so that you can pay it online. be careful when filling up the form.

step 2. fill up license verification form included in the ces application form. bring it to prc manila and pay necessary fee. prc manila will then mail it directly to cgfns.

step 3 fill up school credentials for university and bring the request to your university where you graduated b.s. in nursing. pay necessary fee. your school will mail the verification papers directly to cgfns.

step 4 prepare and mail a letter of request to calbon to forward nclex results to vermont bon. attached a check / demand draft of usd60 pay in favor of calbon with your letter of request. mail it to calbon. calbon will forward your nclex results with your photograph to vermont.

step 5 if you don't have a cgfns username yet, sign in online and have a username and password so that you can check status of your ces application online via internet.

note: after about one (1) month, while waiting for ces report from cgfns, apply for rn license at vermont using nclex endorsement form for international graduates using the following steps:

step 1 download a copy of the nclex endorsement form for international nurses (those nurses who graduated outside the usa. print a hard copy.

step 2 fill up the form and attach the payment of usd150 by demand draft pay to vermont secretary of state. get the details on the website. attached zerox copy of passport, picture, etc.

step 3 mail application form together with the demand draft check of us$150 using philippine registered mail or lbc or fedex depending on your budget.

step 4 as soon as vermont received your application form, they will email you your username and password for you to check your application status on the website.

note: you need to check status of your ces report at cgfns thru online. vermont will not issue you a license if they have not received your ces report from cgfns. also, please check their website application packet and requirements. your application will depend on how quick you can produce and submit all the requirements at vermont.

hi i want to ask.. im a july 2011 passer here in the philippines.. i want to take a nclex for vermont state?? do they also need ssn?? what state doesn't require ssn an ielts ?? and open for a non visa holder in united states... and also if can process my papers here for nclex even my prc license will be release on november of this year.. hoping for your reply for does who had a lot more experienced than me..thanks a lot and godblesss

vermont has no ssn requirement but will only give you 3 chances to take the exam in case you won't succeed at first. texas has no ssn requirement also and can take the nclex no matter how many times as long as it is within 4 years. but in order to acquire their license, you need to take a local texas exam but this can be done after you'll pass your nclex. just go to their website to have more information about their other requirements if you're interested. sorry but don't have any other ideas about your other inquiry...

Vermont has no SSN requirement but will only give you 3 chances to take the exam in case you won't succeed at first. Texas has no SSN requirement also and can take the NCLEX no matter how many times as long as it is within 4 years. But in order to acquire their license, you need to take a local Texas exam but this can be done after you'll pass your NCLEX. Just go to their website to have more information about their other requirements if you're interested. Sorry but don't have any other ideas about your other inquiry...

Hello!

Supposed to you can but I would suggest if you can ask any relatives who's living there to process your papers in behalf of you and make sure that you'll send to that relative an authorization letter allowing him/her to do it in behalf of you. It could be good also if you can call your school as well as the PRC to make sure that they will allow it this way or either way ask them if you can just send all of those forms with the money order to them. But I am not sure though if they will accept that money order from UK or maybe there's a specific bank that you need to process your transaction with them. Western Union is another option of paying your transaction with them but make sure that you have all the information as to under who's name that you're going to pay since western union needs a specific name of a person though it's kind of difficult this way because you don't know of whom you're trusting but there should be a way in which you can do the processing fee while you're there in UK. All you have to do is call. The best is if you can find a relative over there to help you so at least all of the payments will be done in pesos with no problem, but please call those offices to be sure.

Another thing is that I've heard from someone before that you can ask your BON where you sent all of your documents like the TOR, PRC to forward it to the CGFNS. I'm not sure though if this is true but why won't you try to call both the BON where you are registered as well as the CGFNS to ask if both offices will allow it this way. Maybe it will work. At least if they will, then it will be less trouble and maybe less expenses and less time to complete your requirements. :)
