PECOS ID or NPI login

Hello all NPs,

I am a newer NP and I was wondering if it was normal for employers to ask for your NPI login information (with password of course) or PECOS information for entering, retrieving and updating info on my medicare enrollment status? This is for a hospitalist company.

Yep my office manager asked for mine. It was kind of awkward to give someone my login info but apparently its common for the employer to monitor your status of credentialing etc.
