Maybe it got competitive because of COVID in 2021??!! and for Spring 2022 it will go back to 64.5
I’m not sure this is my first time hearing that they would accept 64.5 scores before. I was so excited thinking points didn’t matter as in being point based and you needed to meet a minimum of 70 in order to apply. It’s ridiculous. I have B’s in my science courses with 1 A in patho. But it’s not good enough so I might need to look else where and take anatomy again or something to get an A. ?
are you looking to apply to other programs? Or have you?

How many points do you have? Unfortunately, it sucks that schools do not let you retake science courses unless you got a D or lower; which makes it even harder to get into programs. Programs like Sierra, ARC, SCC also do the 70 pts but it is based on a lottery so you're just in a pool. Some of my friends had to wait a year or two. Honestly, Yuba is everyone's best bet since it is merit-based. I need to retake my TEAS and score a 90 if I don't get in this round.
I applied to USF Vanap as well.
Are you guys in the Sacramento area or are most from Yuba/Sutter area? Just curious because I don't actually know many people who know about Yuba's nursing program in Sac and that patho/pharm/stats are required.

Yeah, I scored a 85.3 on my TEAS. But my score was 67 points. And yeah I’m located in dunnigan, what about you? & yeah I’ve heard many people are trying to get into ARC/SCC, SAC STATE, etc. But I rarely hear about yuba. Did your friends have the same points like you or what do you mean wait a year or two? Like kept reapplying until they got in?
