Hello! For when did you try to apply? & honestly, I had B's in my nursing pre reqs (anatomy, physiology, & micro) and a few C's in my generals but mostly A's & B's on my generals. It didn't take long for me to hear back that I got my acceptance call & email. But I have a 3.32 on my GPA overall. & on my HESI I passed it first try & got a 82% but they calculated it a bit different and scored it as a 80%. I thought I was gonna have a harder chance to get in considering I'd see and hear that others had high gpas & HESI scores. But when doing your passion & purpose form they look into it as well since they're really wanting to know why you'd wanna be a nurse.

Yeah I Know I got their emails. I’m kinda struggling on the reference letters ? I asked my professors for one and they didn’t make me one.

Yeah,I’m actually preparing to take the HESI test for a different private program but I already took the TEAS test. & well that’s good! I have As & Bs myself. Hey do you know how fast the pace is for Samuel? As in is it like semesters or 8-week lecture/ clinicals like this other private program is?

Ohhh! No, he sent me a form that he filled out the classes I took and needed to complete which was 2 and told me to calculate all those classes that were on the form, & then my sgpa and that would give me an estimate of where I was. & that it was okay to apply with in progress or planned. It will be my first time applying ?‍?

I just want to know if I’m calculating it right. He told me to calculate all the classes as the overall GPA? And obviously the science classes separate and that’s where a person stands?

Hey! I’m planning to apply as well since I was the one that created the thread LOL. Yeah I wonder why there hasn’t been more replies? Maybe they’re not aware of the site? IDK. Did John fill out a form and placed all your grades that they calculate onto that form? So is that how you checked what your overall score is?

IDK maybe , but that’s what she said. I didn’t get accepted into the program. I had all B‘s in my science classes so I might need to retake a class and get an A on one of them ?

I have a friend that got into the Yuba program & is on her 3rd semester and when she applied the cut off was 79 points ??

What was your GPA ? Girl at least you got into a program haha. I’m trying to apply to that program too but I’m stressing about the references. My science professsors don’t respond to my emails, nor want to give me one. I’m stressed about that. ? did you submit letters of reference?

I applied with 67 points too. I started my application on Monday and submitted it on Tuesday the day after it opened. But I haven’t gotten an email yet ?

Yeah, I scored a 85.3 on my TEAS. But my score was 67 points. And yeah I’m located in dunnigan, what about you? & yeah I’ve heard many people are trying to get into ARC/SCC, SAC STATE, etc. But I rarely hear about yuba. Did your friends have the same points like you or what do you mean wait a year or two? Like kept reapplying until they got in?

I’m not sure this is my first time hearing that they would accept 64.5 scores before. I was so excited thinking points didn’t matter as in being point based and you needed to meet a minimum of 70 in order to apply. It’s ridiculous. I have B’s in my science courses with 1 A in patho. But it’s not good enough so I might need to look else where and take anatomy again or something to get an A. ? are you looking to apply to other programs? Or have you?

I did, and I think 67 isn’t good enough. It’s my first time applying . I applied on Tuesday in the morning. I’m hoping I get in. I don’t know what to think LOL, have you guys tried applying multiple times ?
