I am currently doing a two year RPN program and would like to move to the southern U.S. with my American fiancee when I graduate. I fully intend to persue my BsN later in my career, but until then what will I be considered there, an LPN or an ADN?

At best you would be considered an LVN, however, you need to check with California to see if they will accept your program. Not all states in the US do. California has quite specific requirements as they give more leeway to LPNS there as far as what they can do.
You would need to be in an RN program, to be considered an ADN.
Could you tell me what is the scope of practice for an LVN? Thank-you in advance. :)
