18yr old soon-2-be lvn student...part-time job or not?

Hi im new to allnurses.I plan on going to school for the lvn course in august.I'm not blessed with rich parents and was wondering whether or not I should take up a part time job...alot of people keep telling me that the lvn program is somewhat challenging and all time possible needs to be focused on studying.........please tell me what you think and/or your experiences with work or no work while u attended school.....and was it really that hard?

please help
