Your observations

Hello Nursing students,

During Nursing school, what observations have you made about the students in class who did not make it through the Nursing program?

Where they not hardworking? did they show any effort or initiative in completing the program? what did you notice about those "select few" who just did not quite cut it?

Your responses are appreciated!

I don't know. In response to the above posters, I am almost 40 and had my "10 million babies" in my twenties and thirties, and I think that it made me much MORE focused, rather than less. I know what needs to be done in all the areas of my life that I care about, rather than letting things get out of whack. Certainly, maintaining my social life is much less of a priority than it was 20 years ago!

I would never say that the college of nursing is my first priority. It is a major factor in my life right now, but my faith and my family are still in primary position. Nursing, I would say, is in third place.

As for the OP, the ones I've seen not make it just didn't understand that even though you may never have had to study in school before, you will now. Just accept it. Also, I think some got psyched out by all the naysayers who told them it couldn't be done, and they believed it. So sad.
