Your hair-do. Is it mandated?

Hi folks

Does your program require you to wear your hair a certain way for school or clinical?

I'm starting school in January and am trying to decide if I should cut my hair short or grow it longer in case it has to be worn up. it's sort of chin length right now

thanks in advance!

Ours just has to be "pulled back." Mine is down past my waistband, and I wear it in a bun for clinical by choice - wouldn't want to, say, have the end fall in someone's urinal, or open wound. It takes about 60 seconds to put up in the morning - I couldn't imagine an easier hairstyle, and that's why I keep it long. I'm not about to get up even earlier to style my hair.

Ours had to be off of our face and off of the collar. So if you had long hair, up in a bun it went (a ponytail would still allow the hair to hang down). If you had short hair, it couldn't hang in your face, or you'd have to have barettes or a headband.
