Hey Everyone! I will be starting school in August and I was just wondering what days and times your clincals and class times are. Are you able to choose what time slots? Also, what school do you go to? Thanks!

M - 8-9:40, 2-3:50
T - off
W - clinical 6:30-3ish
R - 8-9:40, 11-2:20
F - either off or 11-12:50 - haven't decided whether to take my research class online or live
Plus they may be adding community health to our semester, as they have realized that the last semester of our accelerated program is a little too intense for a lot of people. That would add another didactic class and probably clinical day.

We somewhat get to pick our schedules in that we pick by a lottery system. Everybody picks a number and then in order we pick what section we want. There are 8 sections which a set schedule and clinical site.

I attend Webster College in Ocala. I just started clinical on July 2. My schedule is
Monday 11a-2p Open Lab for skills
Tuesday 8a-5p Theory Class and Lab
Wednesday 8a-5p Theory Class and Lab
Thursday- 6:30a-3:30p Clinical at Hospital
Friday- Off
On Wednesday after class we have to go to hosp. and get patient assignment. We have to know EVERYTHING about the patient, what their hx is, why they are there, what meds they are on, what the meds do, know the nursing dx, write a care plan, and what the prognosis is. Needless to say, Im overwhelmed. If our work is not complete when we get to the hospital on Thursday morning, we are sent home. We also have 2 tests per week, and cover about 5 chapters in one book, 3 chapters in another, and have to study the skills for that week and check off on them before we can perform them on a patient.
But, no one ever said nursing school is easy, and only the strong survive.
Hey, that's a pretty good schedule. i will be going to Bethune Cookman in Daytona and i still don't know my schedule

It is a good one, but I am still unable to find a babysitter for my kids so I am a little stressed out about it right now.
