Hi everyone. I'm new to allnurses but have been reading the forums and replies. You guys give great advice. Now here's my dilemma. I've been an oncolgy med surg RN for 3 years. I currently live in Louisiana. I'm currently looking for jobs in the Atlanta area. I love the city and the atmosphere and would like to move there this summer. However, I really don't know much about the hospitals there. Any advise on where to apply, hospitals with great reputations and in good areas? Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Hmm...Only piece of advice I have for you is to make sure you have a job BEFORE you move. The job market in Atlanta is difficult right now. Try to take a few days to visit, and go speak directly to the nurse managers. That can definitely help get you the exposure you need!
