Hello! Everyone! I applied to the second degree program for this fall a few weeks ago but I'm feeling a little uneasy about my prerequisites.
I have all the prerequisite equivalents on the list from my Biology specialization at Queen's, but I'm not certain about my physiology. The physiology equivalent listed on the sheet has not been offered at Queen's for many years now (Comparative Animal Physiology BIOL 338), and there is one that is similar (Animal Physiology BIOL 339) now, which is the one I took.
I was wondering if anyone can tell me how strict they are about course equivalents, and if this means the equivalent courses sheet given is outdated.
Thanks so much!

You should call the nursing program 7182622504. Tell them you applied and interested in talking with a counselor. I'm not sure if you have to be accepted first. I'm actually interested in applying as well. Do you know how long the second degree program is? I spoke with the receptionist and he mentioned 2.5 years. However I'm curious to know if summer classes are offered to cut this amount down.
I was told I could not discuss this until I was admitted and I was directed to their outdated equivalency sheet. haha. Their program is 2 years and it includes the summer semesters.
Funny they told me there are no summer semesters of which I find strange

York's 2nd entry BScN admissions undertakes a more comprehensive examination of course equivalencies when processing applications so if the prereqs you took cover essentially the same content as those courses do/did you should be fine!
PS: since I was the one who posted that course equivalencies list here I will apologize for the confusion it's caused!
