Hello Everybody!
I'm from Vancouver and very fresh here. I have attended an information session for 23 month program for BScN in UBS. They said there that there are about only 4 more universities throughout Canada, offering similar short-term compressed program for people who already have earned a degree (like me) even if it is not any kind of medical degree.
My question is - does anybody know where i can find similar 2-years program? I've googled but have only found one in the UWO.
Thanks in advance.

Both the U of C and U of A offer 2 year programs
U of C: http://nursing.ucalgary.ca/undergradprogram/bn-degreeholder
U of A: http://www.nursing.ualberta.ca/Undergraduate/ProgramDescriptions/BScNAfterDegree.aspx
I've heard mixed opinions about the U of A program. The U of C has a decent program although a bit too much nursing theory for my liking. :)
Good luck!
thank you petethecanuck

You can also add the following to your list:
University of Ottawa
Trent University (Peterborough, ON)
However, from what I know about these programs, some start with a summer semester in May, so the application dates for the 2 year program may be different from the application deadline for the regular nursing program. I'm sure you'll do your research, but just though I'd point that out.
Best of luck!
thank you everybody! apparently UBC are unaware of the reality :)

Ah, yes, UBC was blissfully unaware lol!
I made a list when I was finding schools to apply to, since I had a previous degree.
All of these schools have a 2 year program:
U of Calgary
U of Alberta
U of Ottawa
U of Toronto
York
UWO
U of New Brunswick
Dalhousie
St. FX
Queen's
Trent
U of Lethbridge
Off the top of my head...there might be more. You've got lots of options!
I found it helpful to make a spreadsheet in excel listing the pre-reqs for each one, the application deadlines, and the minimum averages.

U of C has actually closed down their 2 year program.
It still exists. They have re-modified it. It no longer is called BNAT (Bachelor of Nursing Accelerated Track) and it is no longer 20 months but is now called BN- Degree Holder Route and is 24 months

Ohhhh, my bad then! I must've misunderstood when I was told that they phased out the 2 year program. Good to know they modified it.
