I know that Upenn has a one year program. Are there any other 1 year programs out there or say 15 months?
Thanks,
Soliant

Hey BigRanger........would you care to share your experience at Vanderbilt, Please!!!!!!!!!!! I started a thread titled "Anyone from Vanderbilt" and so far no replies. A friend of mine attended, but in the Psych NP program. She was grateful the program was so short. I would like to get more info about the FNP program. Are you attending via distance?I did see that several nurses on the Tennessee forum were bashing Vanderbilt. E.g., "doctors in the Tennessee area wouldn't hire Vanderbilt grads because they don't know anything when they get out," etc. Thanks in advance!

Chester, you're right. No FNP there via distance. But there is Adult NP in this format.
Too bad, it looks like you could do it in a year. Have you found any others via distant ed for a year?
No, I think it's the only one. I may switch my focus to ANP however. That's what I wanted to do in the first place, but it wasn't offered by the school I currently attend, which is only 7 miles away from where I live!
PS. Tell me you don't really live in Burma....

I thought about the same thing, but you loose some marketing potential that way.
Burma? No I always like to list places that I'd like to go.
