Hello all!! I was wondering if anyone remembers any Yale School of Nursing MSN NP interview questions. I will be applying to the Adult-Ger Acute Care NP program. Are the questions geared more towards clinical questions or are they more general personality-type questions (i.e. what are your goals? how do you handle yourself in a difficult situation? etc)

Hey! I applied last year to the pedi track. The interview was really general, why do you want to be an NP, what are your goals, what has prepared you etc. None of them were really difficult or critical thinking questions.
Thank you, star2601! I know that they can take quite some time to notify the applicant if he/she is accepted for an interview or not. I'm a little concerned with the spots that are allocated to the GEPN students. Have you heard of this happening?

I've heard the same thing.
Just general.
The answers they are looking for may differ from others, but the questions are the same (from what I hear!).
I heard about GEPNs taking lots of spots, but I have no idea if that really happens!

Hi there! I applied to Yale’s AGACNP as well. I just did my interview with the program director. The questions I had were
1) Why did you choose the NP program at Yale
2) Do you foresee any problems living here all alone by yourself, in a country where you have never visited before?
It was a short one but, really practical questions.
