Hi guys!

I recently accepted a position in the nurse residency program at Yale New Haven Hospital. My start date is July 20th, 2020 and I was looking to connect with others doing the residency there!

Congratulations on getting in!! How was the process for you? Do you have a ASN or BSN? I just applied for a residency position at bridgeport hospital and am hoping to hear back. Best of luck ?

I applied a week or so ago and it's been under review for a few days now. Hope we hear something soon! ??

Thank you!! I have my BSN. It took around 3 months in total, but the recruiters have been telling me how hectic it is with hiring right now because of COVID! Everything is pretty delayed because they are trying to hire travel nurses right now to help out. Good luck! ?

I was under review for almost an entire month! It may take a while because I've been told by them how busy they are with hiring travel nurses for their need right now ?

Thanks! I've been worried because I haven't heard back and I applied on 3/30. I was planning on calling them today because I have a question about the address to use if I also want to apply to Greenwich! I'd love to do the residency as I've heard really great things!

I definitely recommend reaching out! I didn't hear anything for a month and after emailing them my status almost immediately changed ?

Amazing, thanks for replying! I've been looking for the email but couldn't find it on their site. I'll reach out to one of the RNs I know to see if they have it ?

I have the e-mails for the New Haven hospital but I'm not sure if that would be helpful?

Hey! Could you post the email? I called and left a voicemail on their HR number and haven't even received a call back. This was about 2 weeks ago
