I know I'm so anxious. does anyone know how much the deposit was last year?

I think I saw $2500 or $3000 somewhere?

For all my clinical questions they would try to probe to see how much I knew. Broad clinical picture all the way down to the specific molecular changes during shock states and pharm Qs. IDK if it was a good or bad sign that they were testing me like that.

Oh boy. Was there any EI questions or all clinical? Also do you have any good recommendations for resources to study to prep for the clinical questions? I feel like I have too many options for study resources but would really like to narrow it down to the best ones. Currently using my Barrons CCRN book (although I don't think it goes in depth enough for pathophysiology & pharm), Ninja Nerd on YouTube has always been a favorite of mine (he has great video on ARDS, shock states, pressors), CSPA podcasts.

Specifically, I haven't been able to find a great resource for pharmacology & receptors that common ICU drips work on.

This video is the best I've found explaining sepsis. Just figured I'd share it here in case it could be useful for others.

They throw EI and clinical at you and every question comes from a different member of the panel. They're all joting stuff down as you speak and it's super easy to let it get in your head. Just take it one Q at a time. Honestly I don't have any specific great resources. I would Google questions I had and it would take me to differently blogs. I'd look at their questions and look up answers as well as go over MOA of meds. I used the CCRN book and imagination LOL. We'll see how well that works out for me. I wish you the best of luck though!

Guys! I got an envelope from Yale yesterday but did not open it yet. 😞

I was expecting an email before the mail.

I'm just curious, do they send denial letters through mail as well? So nervous to open it 🥲

Letter in the mail dated 9/17!

Anyone hear anything that interviewed in September? Getting antsy these few weeks of waiting....

Hey everyone! I was wondering if anyone has heard from the school after accepting/ paying deposit for next steps going forward? Thanks!

Has anyone gotten off the waitlist? If so, was it via mail or email?
