Yale GEPN 2018

Hey everyone! Now that applications have been out for a while, has anyone started the process of applying for the Yale GEPN program? I hope that your applications are going well if you have! Also, if there are any current GEPN students that happen across this thread, if you have time, feel free to share your experiences in the program and any tips you may have :) Thanks!

Didn't they just say we'd get an email the week of the 18th? In my experience I feel like a lot of schools get back to us on the last possible day so I wouldn't be surprised if we don't hear anything until Friday :/

I agree - they said we'd hear sometime this week, but they don't know exactly when. I'm trying to tell myself that it's the end of the day on Friday, just so I don't drive myself crazy waiting this week...

I think in previous years they released the majority of decisions on the 20th so I am hoping for Wednesday.

I just emailed to ask if they have any idea when the interview decisions will be released, even if it's just beginning of the week vs. end of the week. I'll let you know what they say! :)

I called this morning and asked specifically when acute care interview decisions would be released and she said she didn't know. Hoping for sooner rather than later!!

I asked Sandy last week and she said at some time this week...hoping for today! Wish they were more specific so I can stop refreshing.

I know this week is going to be incredibly nerve-wracking for all of us until we get our interview decisions! I just wanted to say that no matter what happens, you all are wonderful people who will go on to have incredible nursing careers. Happiest of holidays to you all, and I hope we all receive some great news in the coming days! In the meantime, I hope you manage to stay calm and enjoy your time with family and friends :)

oh yeah for sure. i doubt they'd post after 5pm EST. it's so nice living on the west coast because i only have to wait until 2pm for these things haha.

i'm guessing that we won't hear until tomorrow or wednesday, because i emailed Sandra today and she just said we'd hear at the beginning of this week. i feel like if we were going to hear today she just would've said by 5pm today, you know?
