I received my commission and am awaiting my orders for my reserve unit. I am a WHNP and will be a 66H in the reserves. I've been a nurse for 17 years and will start as a 1st Lt. I would love to talk to some who have gone for the OBLC in San Antonio for 4 weeks and can update me on what to expect. Appreciate any input. Thanks!
I am AD 66H but I am an Adult NP, currently here in San An for my 9 week BOLC course. Today is the 1st day of my 3rd week. I am direct commission with zero prior military experience so this has been a very interesting time for me LOL. The reserve component will join us prior to going to the field in 2 weeks. If you have any specefic questions PM me, I know the reserve time is shorter but many of the things will be the same just more condensed and throough the weekends from what I understand.
My regular email is [email protected]. I love to hear all you have to tell me. I'm still waiting on orders so don't know when I'll get there. When I do I will have a 4 week BOLC.
What rank did you get? Where are you going? How old are you? What uniforms did you buy before you got there and was that enough? Thanks for responding. By the way, my name is Kathy. Good to meet you!
