WWCC Nursing 2021

Published

Just wanted to see if anyone has applied to Walla Walla Community College nursing program for the upcoming fall?  The index score was higher than it ever was last year so hopefully its a little lower this year or the same.  Good luck to all who applied.  I have applied at CBC and WSU Tricities as well.

No, you will not automatically get awarded 0.5 points just for having those classes done. They are tiebreaker points. Say you and I had the same index score of 35 points. I got a B in English and you can an A-- THEN you would be given that additional 0.5 points to put you at 35.5 and me at 35 points. I'm taking the CNA class this Summer. I don't know how to maintain an active CNA certificate. I am sure you could probably Google it.

It depends on where you get your CNA license. I have my Idaho CNA and I am only required to work eight hours a month in order to keep it active. I don’t know if Walla Walla requires it to be a Washington license or if a CNA license in general.

Thanks. And good luck I’ll keep this form posted

Oh gotcha ! Thanks. Yes I googled it but wanted to verify by Someone  who has it or knows , Google is not always legit. But if it’s true that one has to work 400+ hours to maintain that sucks and I would have to wait for next year to get my CNA since I don’t plan on using it, “that’s if I don’t get in this year

You don't need an actual CNA license, as long as you've taken a CNA course and passed the state exams you are good to go. I don't have my license but I took the courses and did the state exams (I provided them with my scores) and they said that sufficed the requirement for CNA.

So I can have my CNA from a different state then? I’m thinking about just getting my CNA in town if that’s the case

Hope this helps.

if you have a CNA license from another state it will satisfy requirement as long as you show them proof of passing. Otherwise you’ll need to take a CNA course and pass the Washington state exams. As long as you do one of

those you’ll be OK.

The suspense is killing me. So far my USPS app is not showing any letters today. I don’t know if I can go all holiday weekend without knowing! ?

I checked my USPS app also and nothing as well, maybe tomorrow?!  ?

Nothing from WWCC showing on my USPS app either. They have to send them out today since they'll be closed Monday right? LOL Fingers crossed.

Checked my USPS app and it shows something from WWCC CLARKSTON, but I’m still waiting on Walla Walla since it was my first choice ??
