Writing a paper about school nurses

Published

I am writing a APA paper on what my experience was like shadowing a nurse for the day at my local elementary school in town. I was there for about 3 hours, got my information and boy do I give school nurses credit! Anyways, I am having difficulty starting my paper, Im not quite sure how to word it. Are there any papers that anyone has that can give me an idea of how to start this paper? I have my thoughts written down, Im just not sure if I should be using transition words in each paragraph or if I should refrain from using the word "I" or "she" in the essay.

Your assignment is to communicate what you learned about school nursing and the people who do it. It sounds likeyoou have your information, excellent.

This is all you need to know!

Basic Guide to Essay Writing

It is perfectly acceptable to use "I" and "she" and their other pronoun cousins. :)

Garrison Keillor, story teller extraordinaire, says sometimes the best way to start writing is to sit down at the kitchen table and describe what you see. "I'm sitting at the table, the kids are in bed, and I'm thinking about what I learned when I went to visit Ms. Robinson at the Shady Nook Elementary School to talk about school nursing. First she showed me ... I asked her ... Her education was.. She likes school nursing because ... "

Then you cross out the "I'm sitting at the table, the kids are in bed, and I'm thinking about what I learned when.." and take it from there. Have fun!
