Hi All,
I just graduated from the University of Ottawa and I have already found a job here in canada. I am not planning to work in the States any time soon, however I want to write my NCLEX and get registered before August while materials are still fresh in my mind and while I am still in the study mood.
I only have a temporary license, would u know which is the easiest state to go through to get permission to write the NCLEX?

Moving this to the International forum.
I presume you are looking at RN
Doesn't matter which state you go to as you will still have to meet foreign nurse requirements and will take anything from 3-12 months depending on state before you get eligibility to sit NCLEX.. NY has their own requirements which is CVS and that takes the longest. But a lot depends if your end goal is the US which state are you wanting to work?
Just a note, You are not applying for NCLEX but licensure to be a RN in the US of which NCLEX is just a part of that process.
Welcome and suggest a good read in the International forum because unless you are a Canadian citizen and can use the TN visa eventually depending on birth you are looking at several years waiting for a GC especially if retrogression is still in progress once you decide to move
I have changed title to reflect that you are applying for licensure not NCLEX
