WOW...

I am a student and will be graduating from a BSN program in May. I was just curiously browsing a job site, and was shocked at what I saw. I saw SEVERAL job postings that state: "NO new grads, Sorry!", "We can not consider new grads at this time, please consider us in the future", and so on. I know about the economy, and having experience blah, blah, blah. But dang, its such a wake up call. I'm worried about ALL of these future nursing students who are so happy about going into nursing. Its sad actually. Very sad.:crying2:

Delivering your resume in person is definitely the best way. BUT the hospital I want to work at when I graduate in Dec. Only accepts online applications. I wonder if going in anyways would help me or hurt me.

Probably neither, especially in a very large facility.

Since you do have a facility you're targeting, spend some time networking. Try to find out who you know who works there, or if there is someone you know who knows someone who works there. It's often helpful to connect with someone who may know how to give your resume a higher priority.
