Wound certification Programs in or near NYC

Hello all,

I am interested in attaining wound care certification and I am not sure where to start. I was researching Wound care certification programs and notice there are various types of certifications (WOCN, WOCNCB etc) Can someone explain to me the difference. Also, do anyone know any programs near NYC or even online that you can recommend? I am a home care/ public health nurse and I see variety of wounds (ostomies, surgical, diabetic, pressure ulcers) during daily visits.

There are fewer and fewer schools teaching the WOCN programs. You can get certified in 1, 2, or all 3 areas, your choice. I would recommend looking into the WOCN program at Emory University. They may be the most expensive, but the have a great track record. My opinion of course.

Hello! What’s the average pay for WOUND care nurse in NEW YORK?
thank you!

Do you know any RN wound care hospital jobs?

thank you! ?
