We've just gotten a bunch of admissions with some serious wounds. I'm fairly new to doing wound care and wondered if there were any websites that you reference or would be helpful for me to learn from. Thanks for any info.

I don't know of any websites, but a good book with pictures is Wound Care Made Incredibly Easy. They have the book in two versions at Barnes and Noble-one more colorful and graphic than the other. Hope this can help you some while you wait for responses. Also, Incredibly Easy has a pocket guide for wound care that would be great to carry around on your person.
Thank you! Just recently accepted a charge nurse position where I have to do the treatments (at my facility, that is the charge nurse duty - rare in my area, for the med nurse not to do them!). Some of the wounds that we now have are stage III & IV and I just feel kinda clueless. I haven't had to deal with wound care since nursing school 3 yrs ago.
