Medline, Convatec, Ferris, etc. Whos wound care products do you guys prefer. The wound care program i run we use mostly Medline. Maxsorb silvasorb etc for the primary dressings.
Im just wondering what your feed back is on these companies.
Autolytic- You might wanna use the Tenderwet. It is considered a autolytic debridement system
There products are ok. A lot of there products do have AG in them and a lot dont. my father owns a medical company and i run the wound care program and know we deal with a lot of wound care products, almost over 2 million a year, just in our purchases. Im just trying to get peoples oppinions on the different companies to maybe open my eyes up to some new ideas. We currently use medline in the forefront for wound care products such as the alginates and hydrocollids and hyrogels. We do use other products from Convatec and j&j but there products seem to be too expensive for the inbursement rates from the ins. companies now adays.
I guess I should have been clearer--I had an order for a specific autolytic debrider which Medline didn't carry. The wound nurse didn't want any substitues used, so it created a problem that took sometime to resolve. I do use the Medline products you listed and they are okay but, like I said before I have had problems with this company.I also know what you mean about expense.
