Hi there,
Yes,i am still working as a TB nurse and am loving it! My day to day is always different I work from 8.30 to 4.30. The way our clinic is set up, each nurse is assigned her own patients. We do case management activities and are involved with contact investigations. The patients that come to the clinic. Are either newly diagnosed with TB or Latent TB. With TB patients we do bood draws an sputum testing, and general assessments. We also see a lot of clearance patients fromimmigration or shelters. There is lots of paperwork but if you are organized it helps. TB is a very interesting disease , there is so much to learn. Good luck and let me know if you need any more info.
