Would I be considered a job hopper

Hi everyone,

I would like to ask a few people who are experienced in what would be considered job hopping. I have been working full time at my current job in a LTC facility for 8 months as a fairly inexperienced RN. Before I became a full time employee, I was working there for about 6 months PRN where I worked about 2 days/month on average. So technically, I have been working at this place for 14 months. However, before I became a full time worker at my present place of work, I did work full time at another rehab/LTC facility for a short time, 6 months approximately. I did leave that job on good terms and I do work PRN for them, but very rarely. Anyway, I am feeling very burnt out in my current full time job and I would love to just go PRN for a few months and then look for a job in acute care or hospice. Does it look bad on a resume or will future employers think that I'm a job hopper if I have been going from PRN to full time, then back to PRN again at the same place. Or, is being a PRN-full time-PRN at the same facility ok. Sorry if the post sounds confusing. I'm just getting burned out from this job working every weekend in LTC. Thanks

Are you staying at the same place? I think it should be fine. I don't think you really need to tell them that you are prn- full- prn. If you do, you can just say that staffing needs at the facility changed.
