Would this CD for sale be useful to a new student, or not?

Nurses General Nursing

Published

Hello again all,

First of all, thank you for all the responses to my post "I'll bge a new student in Jan '05". This board is very supportive.

In my searching to find some pre-college "summer reading", I found a cd on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3815984307&category=31480&sspagename=STRK%3AMEBWA%3AIT&rd=1 . Is this something that would just contain old information and I would waste my time (or worse) by studying it? I'm of course not familiar with the titles or information it contains.

Any help would be appreciated, as always. You may email me directly at foqus(at)yahoo.com.

That's a lot of info for a total of 10.00

I say go for it....some things are timeless.

anatomy, nursing math etc.

a good rule of thumb for basic study materials is nothing older than 4 years...

It looks good to me. Some of it might be a bit over your head at first but would certainly be a great resource later on. I say any knowledge is of benefit and this looks pretty general and accurate. Just remember that your nursing instructors will teach you things they way they want you to do them usually based on the most current knowledge and science, so just remember that if your school tells you something that does not coincide with something you learn in this CD. Otherwise, I say "go for it".

Good luck and congratulations on your acceptance!!!

Not to be anal, but is Army training material copyrighted? Because that's what that disc contains. I think a person using it for their own educational purposes is fine, but I dunno about copying it on disc, calling it your own work, and selling it on eBay.
