working in US with french diploma ( need OBS training or not)

Hi,

I did my nursing school in France ( graduate 1996) . I am working in Canada now and have my canadian citizenship.

I am planning to work in US and I contacted an US agency .

The recruiter told me that I may not get a visa screen because I didn't do OBS training during my school . We did Theorical but Training is ''Can do '' , not mandatory .

Is that true ? did someone any tips or experience to share ?
