Has anyone heard of Meridian hospitals hiring LPN's and offering tuition reimbursement? I've heard they offer flexible scheduling and many learning opportunities. I've also heard that the hospitals are not hiring LPN's but they will hire for their LTC facilities and still offer the same benefits.
Any input would be appreciated.

When I worked at Meridian's RMC in Red Bank back in 2004, they offered around 3k a year for education. We had one LPN on the tele unit I worked on, but they were starting to phase out LPNs and only hire RNs.
Yes, I had heard they were phasing out the LPN, I suppose that is why they (from what I've heard) let the LPN work across the way at the affiliated LTC facility while going for RN. I did hear $5000 a year towards school, but as we know, we can't believe everything we hear.
It's so hard to find out important info because they really don't advertise and you can't really call and ask. You kind of have to "know" someone who has been there, done that. Thanks for your reply
Anyone else with any knowledge of Brick/Meridian, I would truly appreciate your input!
By Brick/Meridian, you mean Ocean Medical Center, right?
Yes, that's it. I'm sorry about that. :selfbonk:
