Thank you! I work for a large hospital system in Houston, so I'm sure you can see why I want to stay on as long as I can. I have a few more prereqs and the prenursing courses to complete and then I'll be on my way. I'm very optimistic and excited.
I believe Cowgirl197 was in an RN to BSN program at UTA by looking at her previous posts. If that is correct than yeah working full time and going to school is doable. RN to BSN's do not have clinical rotations to go through. The did their clinical rotations in their associates program. But for those of you who are going into AO-BSN then think twice before working full time because you have a lot on your plate. Having enough money to pay for cost of living is everyone's concern so I understand your desire to work but you should be able to get money for your cost of living through loans. I didn't want loans but in the end I had to get them so I could have enough time to invest in studying. That is my humble opinion. If you must work keep it down to part-time.

Hey y'all,
I'm currently working on enrolling for the Fall 2020 semester to finish up some of my prereqs and I was wondering if it's possible to work full time once acceptance the AO BSN program is made? I have a daughter and my income is a must, I can't really afford to completely quit. (plus I need my insurance from my job) I am lucky enough to have very sedentary job right now and my work load is never more than I can handle. I've been doing my homework at work so far with no issue. I guess I'm just wanting more insight on how strenuous the AO program is.
Thanks.
