Working at Roosevelt Hospital?

U.S.A. New York

I'm a recent BSN graduate and I'm thinking about applying to Roosevelt Hospital. I've heard mixed things about working there, and was wondering if anyone had any opinions about working there.

Thanks!

hi I work there,

as a new grad I started 5years ago at 58k now I get paid 72k. We are part of NYSNA, there are goog days and bad day. Most of the doctors are nice...it's a teaching hospital.

Hello Gerry, do u know how much new grads are making now at St.lukes R I am considering working there. Also do they allow students to work off of a permit until they take NCLEX, I really like that they have a nursing union.

Hi, honestly I am not sure...but I can check. I think that new nurse on the night shift (7p-7a) make 61k, shift make 57k ... don't quote me on this because I have a feeling it's more. Evenings are tough, I used to work night shift...try day shift instead.

Hi gerry,

I am planning to apply for a LPN position at Roosevelt hospital as soon as I receive my actual license in mail.

Would you tell me what kind of uniforms are required for nurses?

Thanks.
