working as lpn while going to rn school?

I hope to be doing a bridge program in august for lpn to rn.

were any of you able to find a job that would allow you work as lpn while you were in school? school and clinical will be monday thru thursday leaving fri sat sun open to work, i just hope i can find a shift that will let me do those days. Any tips?

Yep. BTDT. I worked compressed weekends for 2 years (7a-11p on Saturday & Sunday) while doing my BSN. Not fun but do-able. I still marvel at the fact that I didn't have a single 'day off' for 24 months. You do what you gotta do. I couldn't have done it without my hubs... he stepped up big time to keep everything rolling along, including our 2 pre-schoolers.
