I am an RN, have been for about 22 years, presently I work in a
long term care facility. I live in a rural area of North Carolina.
My question is, does anyone out there know of a type of position
that I could perform in the home? I hear about nurses working
in the home, like for an insurance company, anyway, help! I
really want to work out of my home for a while. thanks, donna

Donna,
I work with a nurse who works full time at home doing case manager work for workmans comp. I researched it some on the net and you have to get certified in case management. There were a few companys in the Atlanta area that were hiring. She works M-f at home, sometimes she has to go to a drs visit with a client, real heavy phone work. Anyway, it was ideal for her, the $ was comparable and it worked at well
