Working in Hawaii

I have a question. I live in North Carolina now but I would love to relocate to Hawaii.

Is it hard to find a job in Hawaii with just and Associates in Nursing? The only skill I have is that I'm bilingual (spanish)

I'm thinking of moving back to Kauai (left island to go to school and got married while I was at it). Do you have an idea of what to expect as starting pay? It's been 8 years and I don't know how the economy has affected the island. Cost of living is another factor. Any information would be welcome! Thank you.
